Launch Vehicle

The OCO-3 payload was transported into space by the Space X Dragon spacecraft on top of the Falcon 9 rocket on May 4, 2019.

The payload reached ISS, and OCO-3 was taken off the Dragon spacecraft and robotically installed on the exterior of the station's Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) Exposed Facility Unit on May 10, 2019.
